Job Title: Volunteer Article Writer (Remote)

About ACRW:
The Africa Consumer Rights Watch (ACRW) is dedicated to advocating for consumer rights across the continent. We work to empower consumers by promoting fair practices, educating the public, and ensuring that their voices are heard.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Article Writer to join our team on a volunteer basis. As an Article Writer, you will play a crucial role in crafting content that educates, informs, and engages our audience on consumer rights issues across Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and write articles on consumer rights, financial literacy, product safety, digital rights, and other relevant topics.
• Collaborate with the communications team to ensure content aligns with ACRW’s mission and messaging.
• Edit and proofread articles to ensure high-quality, error-free content.
• Meet deadlines and manage time effectively while working remotely.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in consumer rights.

Requirements:

• Strong writing and editing skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Ability to produce well-researched and engaging content.
• Familiarity with consumer rights issues or a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in writing or content creation is preferred but not required.
